Museum of Dysfunction CFP

March 31, 2014 By Melissa Flower

Mildred’s Umbrella and Wordsmyth Theater are now accepting submissions for their annual Museum of Dysfunction Festival of Short Plays. We are looking for short scenes, and monologues. We are especially looking for unusual or insightful pieces expressing or exploring the innate dysfunction of the human condition. Pieces submitted for consideration should:

  • run no longer than 12 minutes
  • require no more than 5 actors (doubling is fine)
  • require only a simple set
  • have no major technical requirements
  • be in pdf, doc, or rtf file format
  • be received by May 31, 2014
  • Submission must be ‘blind’. This means that the playwright’s name and other identifiers/contact info should not be on the script, but included in the email when the submission is sent.

Scripts should be sent by email to Elizabeth Earle atelizabeth@wordsmyththeater.org.
